Edmond massage therapist arrested on prostitution complaint - KOCO Oklahoma City

EDMOND, Okla. —
An employee at the Royal Treatment Massage Parlor in Edmond was arrested Thursday after a prostitution sting.

"This is our second time arresting someone for doing this at this specific place," said Jenny Wagnon, with the Edmond Police Department.

Police said they received several calls from customers who have visited the Royal Treatment Massage Parlor. They reported they were getting a lot more than just a massage.

"We booked a massage, had a detective go in," Wagnon said.

Court documents said an employee, 28-year-old Courtnenie Barnes, escorted the undercover officer to a room, where she rubbed around his private areas and touched him several times. She also told the officer he could touch her.

"He was asking what the price for that was," Wagnon said. "He said she did that part for tips. It's been an ongoing investigation for us."

Barnes was booked into the Edmond Jail on a complaint of engaging in prostitution. The owner of the business has been arrested previously for the same offense.
