Police arrested and charged a man in relation to a reported sexual assault during a massage session at a Sherwood Park business.

Last June, Strathcona County RCMP received a report of a sexual assault and immediately opened an investigation. Mounties said an adult woman reported she was sexually assaulted during a massage session at a Sherwood Park massage therapy business.

John Dorion, a 39-year-old Edmonton man, has been charged with one count of sexual assault, RCMP said.

Dorion has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Sherwood Park provincial court on Sept. 21.

Strathcona County RCMP believe there may be more victims and ask anyone else affected to come forward.
