Police have charged a central Edmonton massage therapist with sexual assault, and investigators believe there may be more victims.
On Dec. 10, officers began investigating a report of a woman who was sexually assaulted by a massage therapist at a massage clinic located in the neighbourhood of Oliver.
Police say the man had his licence with the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association (CMMOTA), and they believe he may still be practising massage therapy in Edmonton.
Following the investigation, Christian Zeus Cabillan, 42, was charged with one count of sexual assault on Dec. 12.
“If you have been victimized by Christian Zeus Cabillan, please come forward and report it to police,” said Det. Dustin Brown with the EPS sexual assault section.
“We believe there may be other complainants in Edmonton. As such, our investigators want to ensure that these individuals are connected to resources to support their well-being.”
Police are asking anyone who believes they’ve been targeted by Cabillan to contact EPS at 780-423-4567.
