Damn i never realized how lucky toronto hobbiers have it

in edmonton they openly give you the menu as soon as you walk in. the massage places i checked out - the price ranges from $160 to $240. $240 gets you fs for ~45min-1hr. 1 sog

not that i would even consider spending that kind of cash for fs for 1sog, but non of the girls i saw at any of the places even tempted me (you know when you go to just "see girls" sometimes without intentions of staying..and you end up staying when one comes out and shes way too fucking hot?)

then i went to a couple of the SC. $7 cover charge at both. there was 1 girl in the middle of her set when i got there. got naked 2 songs later. then there was about a 10 song intermission until the next dancer got on. and again, the girls werent anything special. im sitting there wondering why in not back at the hotel browsing youjizz, saving my money since its christmas time.

its too bad. when you travel you tend to have stronger inhabitions. people traveling from outside of town, to toronto, hit the lottery.

I was in Calgary earlier this year and had an awful experience at one of the MP there. Also I went to a SC "French Maid" which had some decent looking girls...however when I asked to get a private dance they said that they don't do any lap dances due to the law in Alberta...is that true???

I can't speak to where things are now in Edmonton (and I am not a member of PERB), but Edmonton was where I popped my MP cherry 25 years ago. At that time there were about 35 spas in operation, running the gambit from poor to really good.

Spa rates then were the same as now ($40 for half, $50 for 45 and $60 for the hour) and so was the basic service level, they called a hand release a complete (extra $20 on the time) topless, nude, nude reverse. The term body slide didn't come about until the late 90's when many of the former lap dancers entered the MP business as things became more restrictive in the SCs.

A number of the spas in Edmonton were also dual-use. They would be a combination of a fitness/workout studio (weights, bikes, treadmills, universal gyms), tanning beds, steam bath, whirlpool on one side separated by the male changeroom. On the other side there was the massage spa with a couple of rooms. There were two separate entrances but the places were the same owners. Guys shared the shower/lockerroom for both businesses, as massage clients were welcome to use the steam bath and whirlpool. This was also the first place where I ever heard of a shower massage. There was a table setup in the whirlpool area with an air matress and a hand-held shower massage. If a client choose the shower massage then the whirlpool area was closed to other clients for the duration of the session.

Back in those days it was very rare to be offered FS or anything beyond a NR. Over a six year period I was only asked if I was interested twice (versus about a 100 visits). I have no idea what happens today, given the changes in society it probably somewhat more prevalent than it was then.

I haven't been back to Edmonton since the mid-90's but I am sure it is just a case of knowing where to look. Back in the old days the main source of information was the Edmonton Sun classifieds and then going and checking places out. Sometimes you could determine how good someplace would be based on the area of town it was located in. Of course you need to know the city when making that kind of assessment and it does nothing for the casual visitor or someone who is new to the city.

The best info for Alberta is Canada Adult Fun. Perb is not bad for Edmonton (caf is still better) but is useless for Calgary.
