Edmonton Sun

One of the studios told me how much they spend each day just for advertising in the Adult Massage section of the Sun Classified. The rates seem to run from just $40 (very basic, about 3 lines) to $120 - 140 for those longer ads with more copy.

Yikes that is easily 30 to 60 K a year. I would rather have them spend less on Classified advertising and reduce room fees with the savings.

So my question is: Does the Edmonton Sun advertising really influence you?
Are you more likely to go to a place with a bigger ad?

I used to look at the ad's in the sun, but then I figured out how to use the google machine. I haven't checked the newspaper ads in a very long time. If I can't read about it on massageplanet, it ain't worth knowing.

I use to use the Sun a moderate amount before there was prolific spread of all the MPs and SPs on the web. Once the web exploded with Edmonton MPs, I basically haven't looked at the Sun since.

My guess is the Sun ads are aimed at out of town guys. Easy to do some market research and ask how a guy found the place - see if the Sun ads pay for themselves

Sun ads don't influence me at all. I don't read the paper much anymore. I get most news and pooning info online.
