Eggcrate....where do you get it!

Hey all,
I need to get some eggcrate foam for my table. Where the heck do you buy it at! LOL I've got no clue, that fabric store? Bedding section at the local ---Mart? Also, how many layers of eggcrate do you use? Thanks gang!

You can usually get egg crate foam at any fabric or craft store. One thing you might want to consider is just looking at your local dept. store for mattress foam. I bought a memory foam pad for my table (twin size) last year at Target and it was on the clearance rack for just $10!!

I believe I paid at least that years ago when I bought the egg crate foam from the fabric store?

my school's clinic had these available in all the massage rooms. i always pulled them off my table because it created more work to give good pressure.

I got mine at Target for 10-15ish, I think. Just look for twin size matress covers & you'll be in the right vicinity.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll look into the memory foam pad first. I don't like the feel of the eggcrate unless there are two layers to even it out and that might be too much padding...?

So you like to lock the 2 layers together so it's smooth on both sides? You can get foam that is flat on both sides a lot cheaper than the egg crate foam, and you could probably get it a bit thinner than a double layer of egg-crate foam too, and you can get different densities, which might make the selection even harder

The memory foam would bea great place to start.

For those of you who use table warmers also....do you put the warmer over or under the foam? Just curious...

I don't use an egg crate, but I would guess the table warmer would go above it. I can't imagine how well the heat would penetrate through it. I would be careful though for fire hazards. Not sure how the egg crate would take to the heat.

Memory foam! Hmm, do you think if I slept on memory foam it might help my memory??? LOL! Wouldn't there be a gold mine in that!!!
