Electric/Powered Massage Tables

Hi All,

Sorry to start a new post but can't seem to see anything that gives alot of feedback on powered/electric tables.

A friend of mine is in the throws of thinking about a powered table for a home practice.
Just a whole lot simpler and easier for different client types, more so for women than guys (I'm the guy....Friend is the Woman )

The problem is trying to find feedback in forums etc on brands.....due mainly to their cost & lack of manouverability no doubt :irked:

Does anyone have a powered table? Or can you point me in the right direction of some websites which give unbiased reviews?

Our location is Sydney Australia, but we're both quite friendly to foreigners, so overseas brands and websites will definitley be welcome :grin:

Hi. It looks like I never replied on any of those posts, so I'll add my experiences here.

I worked in a spa that had electric tables. They worked fine. The spa had been there for many years before I came along and is still there. To my knowledge they haven't replaced any of the tables, and they stayed in good condition (4 rooms doing an average of five massages or body treatments per day 5 days a week / Saturdays each room saw 7 or 8 per day).

I don't know the company brand, but they did have a pedestal in the middle of the table and not a pedestal for lifting at each end.

They were built like this Earthlite, but had a really cruddy face cradle which had strange a tooth in groove mechanism which double lifted, but was difficult to maneuver and would break after a number of years. It could be that companies no longer supply that cradle. This Earthlite cradle looks much nicer.

If you go to this thread, it will provide you with a list of table manufacturers, easier than trying to look many of them up online.
