CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Police Department shut down a suspected human trafficking operation in Flour Bluff on Monday.
Kiet Tham Ho was ordered to stop operation of V Massage and any other massage business at 9925 South Padre Island Drive after the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation issued a 6-month emergency closure.
An investigation in November 2024 ended in a massage therapist being arrested for prostitution.
The investigation also found indicators of illegal "commercial sexual services," and evidence people were living in the establishment, as well as advertisements on multiple illicit websites alluding to sexual services for hire.
Anyone who suspects human trafficking can contact the National Hotline for Human Trafficking at 1-888-373-7888.
