EMPTY YOUR PM BOXES !!!!!

I have noticed a few threads lately asking for various people to empty mailboxes. Fred, would it be possible to get a forum or a sticky thread where we can post these when it happens? Also, folk make sure you do empty them cause if too many people let it get out of hand it can slow down the board and even crash it. Ive seen it happen (depends on what version of this program is being run though.)

I think the problem is the way this board only shows the last 10 days worth of mail by default. It just doesn't show it, it's still there. People have to check off "from the beginning" to see what they have stored.

Thats true. But regardless of how they get full, some folks may not realise they are. If you put up a regular thead to tell them it may get pushed to a second page before they notice it was there and thus never see it. Also, the e-mail address the full mailbox notice is sent to may not be checked as often as people check the board, and thats assuming the address given was even real or is still active.

They may also simply not have access to that address anymore, or it may be closed down, like at the @home address'.
