Energy in hands?

Fresh hands here...I have been using massage for sometime but only recently in a professional capacity.   At first my sister was the only one to comment that she can feel something other than me touching her when I give her a massage.  She says she can feel buzzing or fizzing on the surface of her skin and when I am touching her hair or head she says my hands 'sing' like a distant, high pitched humm.  I was surprised at first and thought she was making it up but a couple of clients have recently said something similar without any prompting from me.  I just smile and tell them that it's all the positive healing energy I'm giving them.  The heat from my hands seems to initiate comments too.I don't do any special preparation, meditation or such.Should I be doing anything to help the energy flow?Has anyone else experienced this or something like it?Ciao!

This energy is known by many names - prana, chi, ki, qi, vital energy, subtle energy, mana, ruach, etc.

According to some writers, including Barbara Brennan (Hands Of Light), there are almost 100 different cultures that have names for this type of energy.

How very exciting!!!  Do you also feel the energy in your hands?  I have found some techniques really enhance energy flow like Quantum Touch, Polarity and CranialSacral to name a few.  I hope you will find information to help you understand and harness what I believe is a true gift.

  I too went through the same experience, when I first started,  and wasn't sure what people were talking about then a friend told me about reiki and I went to have my attunements and it truly has been remarkable. I would suggest checking into getting your attunements, from there it seems to get stronger and help in healing. Validate your gift, and it truly is a gift and use it to the good!!!

i've been told several times by my clients that my hands were so warm they thought i heated my oil.  also, i worked on an energy worker a couple times and at the end of the session i grounded myself in somewhat of a thai chi pose and gave her some "white light"  she opened her eyes startled thinking i turned the lights in the room on.  be grateful for being a "vessel" for this universal energy.
