It seems the pandemic is a blessing in disguise. The shutdowns have prevented the spread of other viruses like the regular flu. It probably also prevented deaths from car accidents because it kept people at home. You can't get killed in a car accident if you're sitting at home. I'm not telling people to stay at home and prison yourself, but that's a reality.
