Gonna share a very bad experience with you folks... happened over a year ago.
Answered an ad for a tropical hawaiian type for a massage in the Westender. Went to her place near Yaletown, which was a high-rise apartment complex one block south of Richards (sorry I forget the street name). This bitch was about 5'8", about 140 lbs, a mulatto.
We discussed the terms, and she asked me to get undressed. So I did but she did not. I asked why, and she made up some excuse, and asked me to relax... I was making her nervous. She told me to lie face down, and I did, but I drew my pants (which were on the floor) right next to me. She began applying her technique, but still fully dressed. I decided to reach for her breasts to see what the reaction was going to be. She backed away, saying "not yet, baby". 5 minutes of massaging, and I hear a shuffling noise behind a stand up screen. My hands were at my sides and I immediately reached down and grabbed my pants. She immediately grabbed one pant leg, and a hand went into the pocket and pulled out many bills. The person behind the screen pops out with a polaroid camera and snaps a picture. She was a female, blonde, about the same build and height. I rip my pants away from the mulatto and jumped into them, and pushed my feet into my shoes and grabbed my coat (which was on a chair nearby). I left my socks and shirt off. I moved threateningly very fast towards the mulatto, she screams, and some bills flew out of her hands and I reached down and grabbed them. The other girl sees this and grabs the phone and starts dialing, and presumably is screaming to her pimp or whatever to get over fast. I run out the door, down the stairs 10 or so flights, down the street 2 blocks away, to my car.
She stole about $300 from me, but I consider myself quite lucky. I was very shaken.
Lesson: 1) keep your clothes very nearby, and make sure she is stripped down or wearing very little. 2) don't carry excess cash in pocket or wallet, or at least carry a wad of plain paper so they mistakenly reach for that instead. 3) have a buddy waiting nearby, if possible.
I'll bet these 2 are still operating, cuz they sure seem well practised.
