hey yall..

just read about some poor guy who got an STD from an MP.

I've been MPing for a while and I've recently started to shy away from going. Why you ask? This exact reason.

Now mind you, I don't go to those full service places...that's too much for me. But recently I started thinking about STD's...I mean come'on...

DATY (whcih I stopped doing a long time ago with MPA's) is a sure fire to get one.

Digits = may be kinda safe..but think about this..you go in...then at some point, you grab your johnson. That can't be good.

If you've ever gotten an STD from an MPA...how do you think it happened?

dissey..you fotgot to mention bareback fs (anal and vagina). It happens. During the bs, she slips it in, and before you know it....unfortunately in the car on the way home, i come to realize me and half the town get the treatment, and how dangerous it is.
No std's yet, but serious high risk.

The fact of the matter is I go to MPA's that are clean and don't engage in anything more than the occasional DATY. Once they mention BJ's, FS or anything else I run. We obviously all love Mp's and I think we should have enough respect for the girls (especially the ones that keep it clean) to not post things about getting STD's from them. If you are willing to take a BBBJ- you should be willing to take whatever comes along with it. What happened to the old days when Massage was just massage with a finale?

I've been to lots of places that offer BBBJ but I always decline.
I believe that if you are willing to get the maximum fun then expect the maximum risk.

Well put Rocky! I can't agree with you more. I really get eerked after a session where I have been offered something beyond the "normal" BS... In those instances I usually leave the MP feeling grossed out, because how many guys has that MPA seen before me tha day... and how many times did she do those sort of things... Maybe it's just me, but it ain't worth the risk! If you are willing to have DATY or BBBJ or whatever, you are probably asking for trouble.

Keep it "clean" and you are as safe as one can be in this type of hobby.

1 of those nasty hot towels... not that bad but still had the itch for a couple of days before the medicine took care of it! Don't get those towels unless you are 100% sure they are washed before/after each use and I mean machine washed!

Picked up something nasty last year from an MPA, unfortunately since I had been to several within a short span of time, not sure exactly which one, but activities did not extend beyond a BS in any case.

Lucky for me it's not dangerous, but it's contagious, so out of respect for all massageplanet.netites and other MPA's, I'm out of the hobby for a few more weeks.

I have never had the bad luck of getting a STD from an mpa. However, the stories which i have read here on massageplanet.net have me a little freaked about attending another mp. However, if one is careful, and stays away from the kinky stuff, than thats cool, but as for myself, i won't be looking for any of the kinky stuff any more.

sticking to strictly a hand massage, possibly of the Russian persuasian, is pretty safe i believe. just stay away from those hot towels.

Hot towels... who would have thought. I always thougt that was a nice "caring" touch offered by some of the nicer MPAs. Never put two and two togther to come up with it being a possible risky venture. I think I'll be declining the favour next time! And I thought I was being pretty "clean and safe".

I can understand your discretion but you're still anonymous & details would help fellow massageplanet.netites. It is vagueness that keeps us ignorant. Details like, how you think you may have caught it. (not mentioning MP's of course) You say body slides? Was there genital to genital contacts. If this was the case then perhaps we know that a towel inbetween might not be such a bad idea.What you caught & how it is cleared up etc. It is this type of information which can help us all. Again I understand if you don't want to discuss it.

I had been to many different spas over a period of a month to six weeks prior to noticing small lumps on my penis, which turned out to be molluscum contagiosum. This condition is discussed in more detail here:

The first doctor I visited thought I had trichomoniasis and set about burning off the growths with liquid nitrogen, much as you would do with a wart. This is highly unpleasant, and I do not recommend this to anyone.

Anyway, I'm not going to go into any of the MP's that I visited immediately before I found out I had this, however I did not engage in anything above a BS, and on a couple of occasions, there may have been genital to genital contact, although I'm not entirely sure that this took place. I am sure however that warm wet towels were supplied at most of the places I visited, and I never thought twice about that.

The important thing here is that it is treatable, and not too serious. It's unpleasant, but at least I'm almost over it. Just be glad that I'm abstaining from hobbying until I'm done my treatment so no one else has to go through this.

Can anyone confirm whether it is possible to catch a STD from the hot towels many MPs use after the massage?
