Fantasia?

Hi everyone,

currently in patong living the dream for a couple of weeks..

Just wondering if anyone can help me out with finding an establishment..

My friend was here 3 years ago, and swears black and blue that he went to a place called 'Fantasia' which was amazing..

Noone we ask around here seems to know about it..
Of course we've been told that it might be Fantasea that we are thinking of, but from all accounts Fantasea seems to be family-oriented theme park..

The place my friend visited was more of a high-class LB cabaret show, with gorgeous TG's who sit with you and keep you company (Of course with an option for LT)
Also apparently the front door to this very large establishment was manned by a large number of TG in school uniforms..

Far enough out of Patong to require driving, but not too sure exactly how far..


Ring a bell for anyone?
Any help in finding this place would be much appreciated..

Take a Taxi, they will know the place for sure.

Its located next to Pearl Hotel and Pearl Bowling in Phuket Town. Pearl hotel also have a massage parlour similar to Christins Massage in Patong. Its in the center of Phuket Town, few minutes walk away from the main shopping area. (Robinsons, Mc Donalds etc)

it`s really for asians,but worth a look i guess.

be prepared to pay through the nose for drinks,girls to sit with you and especially,BF and LT.

I was there looking around once last year and found it kind of creepy. Dark and not welcoming to Westerners at all. As said by others, for Asians.

Fantasia is in Phuket town which is an old theater converted to a huge bar with lots of girls and a live band. All taxis will know where it is. Problem is if the taxi brings you he'll be asking for a commission from the place which in turn will be charged to you. Basically your 100 Baht beer will become 200 Baht etc. etc.

The place is pretty dead most of the time but they do have a lot of girls you can BF or just sit and drink with you there. I was a with an American friend there quite some time ago and he ended up with a girl that spoke no English and he spoke no Thai. Funnily enough he speaks fluent Japanese and so did the girl, so they ended up speaking in Japanese. I thought it was quite funny. He ended up bar fining her for about 4 days. So I wouldn't say it's not Farang friendly but their regular customers are mostly Asians. They handle tour groups so they come by the bus loads, go in pick a girl and then they're off immediately. Hence the reason why the place is mostly dead cuz the customers never sit and drink there.

I think just go there check it out and enjoy yourself. It's not that scary!!

nelson, I agree, the place is dead most of the time. Just wanted to let the OP know what the place is like if he really wants to make a trip down there.
