Favorite soi and why

I'm with Mr Chob, a total Seadragon tragic. Will it ever be as good again? Only time will tell.
I fairly agree with Nels, & Dodger at least as far as to where some of the lows and limits are, about the afternoon evening tour route though.

This year spent a lot of time in late afternoon/early evening in the bars in No1 Sunset Plaza Phrachanukroh Road (Off Beach Road) opposite the Absolute Hotel.

Reason for this was, on a previous trip we found it a bit hard to find many bars where there was a lot of people around at that time of day, so was glad when we found this area.
Always a good crowd of people there, bars were good and always had plenty of weekend sports on the TV's. Was also a good place to take my GF as the people that run and work in the bars there were very friendly.

Also many of the bars along Rat-U-Thit road, Really enjoyed Bar1 on the corner of Rat-U-Thit road and Soi La Diva. Have never really heard anyone mention this particular bar on here, as it seems to be very well run and also open pretty late most nights.
1st time on this years trip I found the complex in the OTOP Markets. Found some good bars in there and will definitely visit again when I return.

There`s actually half a dozen new bars in O Top just opened and some more about to open........as you walk in from rattie road turn first right....down where you can park a car.

I really like the markets in there and drinking there seems to suit some.

The annual Ashes test match Aus V Eng is a bit of fun...

Ok Bm's thought I would ask the obvious questions as Im experiencing phukets famous nightlife very soon. Whats your favorite soi and why?? Further more which bars?because of the quality of the girls? beer pricing? bar fine pricing ? general atmosphere? another thing is there favorite bar crawl? route that most of you people do when on the prowl.......all advice is welcome and noted.

Lion for me, always good atmosphere and plenty of girls dancing on the bars. Plenty of bell ringing and generally good fun.
It's always the first soi I go to when I arrive in town and go there every night at least once when on the sip.

lately its been a late afternoon start on Nanai in Luigi's Offshore Bar with a quorum, maybe a couple of hours in Rock Hard bouncing girls on the knees, a couple of hours in P-One on Bangla watching the night get going, a couple more hours in MTB catching up with mates, a few in Suzie's or another gogo and then a bop in Hollywood...sometimes its back to Kamala for a nightcap in Rider's

Loop I was staying at the Mercure at the end of April for 2 weeks and needed to catch the last few games of the EPL. Spent the nights the games were on watching in the bars there rather than walk into Bangala.
As I stayed in the Burasari the visit before, I never got to see any bars other than those on Beach Rd or Bangala, so was good to see what some of the bars are like out of the main area.

Interesting, thanks for the info. As mentioned before, one of my favourite bars in Patong. Always head there early for a few games of pool before I hit Bangla. The girls are good company there and the place is usually busy. I think a guy from England runs it?

Been there before? It is very compact, you can do Bangla Rd and the Sois in one night.

Soi Crocodile is my favourite. Some real friendly hotties dancing on there. BYO straw.

Soi Sea Dragon.
Of course its had a hard time with its transition lately, but its always felt like a County Fair or Royal Easter Shows side show alley to me...a cacophony of beats and sounds, of squeels and nail hammering and ringing bells and catcalls and rock bands.
Its the only Soi you can sing with a band, see a variety of go gos, sit at a simple beer bar and even eat ( currently on hold ) at.
Hopefully it will fill up again and return to its noisy rollicking old self...

I think I am going to have to look around a little more. I have stopped in a couple bars for a drink or so down different Soi, but got hooked on Soi Easy and just stayed there. By the sound of things i am going to have to try many others. I have not even tried MTB....

The next trip I believe that will be my first stop and then go by ear from there. Look forawrd to meeting some of the BMs
