Feet

Help my feet and so dry and one of my heals is now cracked and is so sore. Does anyone have any good tips on not only how to get rid of the problem but how to stop it coming back???

a trick i learned from a friend of mine is you get 100% petro jelly, put a nice layer on your feet (i use toilet paper to spread - but you can use a cloth of some sort as tp will tear and shed)
then you take 100% cotton socks and stick em on.....

whenever my feet are so dry n cracked i do this (as i tend to forget my feet sometimes) and leave it on over night (i sleep with it) and then the next day they are nice n soft....

my friend does this every night....i only do ever so often....but im sure if you do it routinly the dryness goes...not sure...

Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can cause cracked heels, especially a lack of zinc. Omega 3 fatty acids (such as those found in fish oil or flaxseed oil) can also help to heal / prevent cracked heels.

Hi Kingy, I would firstly see a good chiropodist who would remove the excess hard skin, then there is a really good cream from sweden called CCS cream (available from boots) that should help you to controll the problem. Many people suffer this kind of problem.
