Feline Massage??? Is there such a thing???

Has anyone heard of Feline Massage.....A friend of my Wife's at work asked about Feline Massage. Thought I'd toss this one out there and see if I get a bite, scratch, yowl???

I may check other places too BUT thought I'd bring it to the community here too!!!

Well, my cats certainly insist on it regularly! One in particular demands a massage each night at bedtime. First she nudges my hand gently. If/when I play dead, she smacks me a good one, and if I continue to ignore her, she bites my hand ever so gently but insistently, until she gets her massage. Then she goes to sleep on my feet, or knees, or otherwise inconveniently located......

I don't know that there are a lot of MT's getting paid to do feline massage, but I'm pretty sure there are pampered cats out there whose owners would rush to be the first to call you. Have you ever been to a cat show? That would be where I'd start advertising - on the cat show circuit.

My dd & I went to a cat show and saw the coolest cats. But one ugly one - Mexican Hairless?? looked just like a bald Chihuahua being carried about on a pillow. We looked at each other and simultaneously asked, "Why do they think it's a cat?" Just then it meowed. Oh. :

You might want to check out Linda Tellington-Jones. She's done some fine work with rescue/pound kitties I believe.

My cat is getting older and I believe it may be developing some arthritis, or seems to at least have some slight discomfort with her mobility at this point in her life. She remains rather active, but doesn't have much spring in her step. I would love if any one had any tips on how to help her out.
