Well after months of umming and aaahing, I finally took the plunge yesterday and visited a parlour for the first time. Nervous just wasn't the word!
Anyway, after reading so many reviews, I visited Sandy's Superstars in Northenden, positively trembling walking through the door, I must have paced up and down the street loads of times before I finally though 'I'm going to do this'...
So, after ringing the bell on the back door, I knew there was no turning back, and as soon as the door opened, I thought my heart was going to explode it was racing that quick!
Anyway, checked in, and thankfully for me, there was no other blokes around at the time, but just scantily clad ladies - jesus, this was difficult!
The excellent receptionist, and the kind offer of a cup of tea was declined - I think I would have been shaking like mad holding the cup and saucer like in a farcical comedy scene type of way.
Sitting next to where I was standing was Keira, I couldn't believe my luck as I'd been reading her reviews and I was secretly hoping that I'd be able to see her, if I could just get past my nerves!
Anyway, booked in with Keira for 30mins, and my nerves were still raging at this point, it did worry me slightly that it may stop me...well you know what!
I got in the shower, and even that didn't work for me at first, christ, what an episode that was, all the while Keira was making the room comfy for me!
Anyway, I won't go into detail as I'll save that for the review that I'll do, but suffice to say Keira made me feel a lot more comfy, and it happened, although thanks to my nerves probably ended a lot sooner than I'd hoped!!!
Felt really good walking out though finally having taken the plunge!
Was anyone else's first time like that?
I think I'm still shaking now mind...
