i can't tell you all how happy i am that it's over! i've been working my tail off in the new facility for over a month, and now i can calm down a bit.
we moved. we finally moved next door to 3x the space and currently have 2 counselors, a group therapy/classroom, two massage rooms, a reflexology room and a children's area. mostly for my children when i'm here doing paperwork, etc.
i've brought in a line of environmental wellness products from ecoquest. with these products i've been able to create a pure environment, from the air, to the drinking water, to the way the laundry is done. my favorite part is that i now have a washer and dryer!!! : i can't tell you all how happy that makes me. man.. it's great.
anyway, in addition to those products that i'm selling i've also brought in some organic vitamins/supplements and my kids have launched their new line of bath products. it's called 'smoinky roo bath products' (their two nicknames) and we have a bedtime scent and a playtime scent.
we had a really good turnout. i had hoped for more sales during the event, but my main focus was really on pushing the classes, and introducing what we do to everyone. lots of people came from the chamber, my bni group, etc. we set it up like a mini-wellness fair with someone from edward jones talking about healthy finances, someone from slender lady talking about nutrition and fitness and a chiro doing a bilateral scale. my clients and the new people loved everything. the food was great, but i have to say that the best part was surprising my kids (4 and 6) by letting them cut the ribbon.
i've got to tell you - it was hard work getting ready for this. mostly because i did everything myself. it was hard work, i havent slept in days, but it was totally worth it and i'm already thinknig about my next open house in the spring.
off to catch some zzzs.
