First Job Interview......what to wear?

Ive got a job interview tomorrow w/an acupuncturist......in a place I really want to work. She has 2 MTs already and looking for a 3rd.

I recently graduated and this is my first interview as a MT.
What do I wear? What I would wear to do a massage? Or should I dress like I would for any job interview?

I want to make a good impression of course, but dont want to overdo it, or underdo it either.......

Dress for a job interview, unless you know you will be giving a massage at the first interview. Normally, though, they schedule that separate, after the initial interview tells them they are interested in really hiring you. If you know the business well enough to know how they dress for work, dressing like that works, whether it is how you'd normally dress for an interview or not.

As an aside, I read Breathe's response (I just left the jeans thread in Off the Table topics!!) and about spit my soda on my keyboard. For my one and only interview (ended up working for myself), I wore a really pretty outfit: springy-green denim pants with a matching lace-trimmed knit sweater and white tank layered under the sweater, in case she wanted a massage on the spot & I'd want to take off the sweater. :shock: I WORE JEANS TO A JOB INTERVIEW. :shock: I got the job, too, btw. LOL. The funny thing at the time was that the owner of the business met me in a 2 piece outfit (sweats, LOL) of exactly the same color I was wearing, and the walls in the entire place were the exact same color. We were two floating heads, LOL!!!

I refrained from noting our floating heads, and behaved professionally, however.

At the time a perspective employer schedules an interview with me I simply ask what they would like me to wear at the interview. I simply ask "Will this be a traditional job interview or would you like me to come dressed as I would for a bodywork session?"

For all the interviews Ive done the employer has responded to the latter.
