First time in Guangzhou...

If your fair is in "Fair and Comodity Center" (Liu Hua Road) than you have two hotels across the street. I stayed last year in Dong Fang Hotel (3 or 4 stars) rooms are rather big, very very much clean. Like some very good hotel in Europe. Ussually in front of the hotel there are guys who are giving away flyers with telephones of an agency. Just call them and she is comming on your door without any problem. Only problem is that it is difficult to choose a girl because of their poor knowledge of English. I am going there again from the begining of March (10 days) and can supply you with "fresh' news.

Hi there all you experts. I'll be visiting Canton fair in Guangzhou for the first time end of April. Although the flights are already booked, I am still undecided on the hotel.
Personally I prefer the 4 or 5 star places, but if I follow the various threads in this guide and elsewhere, it seems to be tougher to get the girls in your room, the higher the ranking of the hotel. Or am I totally wrong here?

I definitely would love to share one or the other experience with you, but I would need some hints and tips about the right hotel to stay at. I am not the type going to outside bars or picking up girls on the street.
