I admire K-9 officers & service members even more than their human partners. They did not volunteer for this, they don't get paid -- they just love being dogs and doing a job no human is capable of doing. They do it for treats and affection and occasional massages.

Now that is the definition of a patriot!

Animal massage is something I'd really like to try. I've tested in on my cats, when they're willing. They've become more receptive to it than they were in the beginning, and they seem calmer now. They're still their spazzy selves, of course, just not as wired, if you get my meaning.

No need to apologize for plumpness. I'm about 20 pounds over-plump, having been chained to a desk for the past six years. The university allows free admission for students, but it doesn't do much good when they close before you have time to go. :roll:

And most importantly, congratulations on the new baby!
