Hi Guys,

I am going to Thailand this December for 8 days. I will be in Phuket for 4 days. Please suggest some nice places to go in Phuket. Also suggest some nice Bar and Discos in Phuket.

You have to get a hotel that is GF (Girlfriendly). If not they could charge you as high as 3,000 thb (like Holiday Inn eg.). Where have you booked ?

L/T or S/T is diff from p2p. S/T is probably around 1,000 - 1,500 thb. L/T aprox. 2,000 - 3,000, depending if you r a handsum man or not ? How hot the girl is and so on ? Also consider the barfine around 300 - 600 thb.

Try the search for GF hotels.

Check this list for NON GF-hotels. If you mean Patong Resort, then they charge 700 thb joinerfee !

It looks like a nice hotel but I would never choose a NON GF-hotel. BTW I stayed next to Patong Resort just 2 months ago in Patong Tower. Great apartments.

I am from Denmark.

Patong Tower apartm. are owned privately but can be rented for about 2,500 - 5,000 thb per day depending on season and number of bedrooms.

Captain but i called the hotel twice and they told me it is just 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel not sure they may be lying as i a tourist to that country.

The hotel was not confirmed till now as my friend didn't booked it. Now i went ahead and booked this hotel Mussee Patong Hotel. Seems to be a nice hotel

Captain is right. Lot more than 10 mins to Bangla, if thats where you are heading. A brisk walk might just make it to the end of the beach rd in 10mins if you are lucky. One things for sure a 10 min walk when sober sure aint a 10 minute walk when drunk.

Are you sure that Mussee are GF ? Always a good idea to mail the hotel and ask if they are "guestfriendly" (no joinerfee for guest staying overnight) before booking and get a written confirmation to print and bring with you to show reception.

Its my experience that the more expensive the hotel is the smaller chance for it to be GF ...

Located only few minutes from the beach, best shopping mall and exiting nightlife. (Dr. Kevorkian I presume)


Oh and the map is very confusing - they've squished it up a lot, From studying the map it looks like it's near C&N Resort & Spa, (Few minutes from best shopping mall????, it is at least a 10 minute walk from there to anywhere)

One things for certain - No TG is walking that far so yes its a Tuk Tuk for you. By the looks of their website it looks like there are joiner fees as well. (IE they mention children free of charge in same room - would make sense to asnswer the joiner fee question as well) If you don't want to ask on the phone why not e-mail them. [email protected]

I called the hotel and confirmed. They told me that it is 10 minutes walking distance from beach and 10 minutes walking distance from the night life area.

Jim good question i will drop an email to the hotel and will confirmed whether they are Guest friendly or not. Jim you are a Danish and have a very good experience and knowledge about Thailand. Good
