Fitted cradle covers vs. drapes?

Hey gang,

Which would you recomend? The fitted cradle covers or the drapes?

My concern is not only the client, but also washing machine friendly, shrinkage, lifespan?

When I get a treatment, I prefer the drapes for myself. But, this is all about making the client happy, not me. LOL!

well, i prefer fitted covers. however, i haven't used drapes for my table. i will tell you that of all of the different face cradle covers out there i've finally found a company that makes the best covers (my opinion of course). the company is inner peace. their covers fit SO MUCH BETTER than any other companies that i've used. clients like them way better. it fits more snug around the face cradle so that they are not breathing into fabric ~ does that make sense? their elastic is sewn IN not ON to the fabric so it just fits so much better.

I prefer fitted covers. I don't want to worry about it falling off, and my clients like that clear breathing hole - if it isn't visible, some want me to make it visible. (I did try drape covers for awhile.)

I too prefer fitted covers; the problem I have now is I use a memory foam cradle and the standard flannel covers don't quite fit. I need to find someone who makes specialized covers (since I have NO sewing ability :wink:

I am sure I will get flack from some of you who will say this is bad for the enviroment, but its my business, so......
I use paper towels, Viva pick-a-size. They are soft, cotton-y and feel like cloth, and only cost $2 a roll. I can get 25-30 clients out of 1 roll (the actual towels are small, so I tear off 2 at a time, and then use the perferation to tear them 3/4 up the middle). My clients like it cause they know they are getting a clean sheet each time, don't worry about make-up smudges, and it sits on the top of the cradle (I also have a memory foam on the top of my cradle so its hard to fit), leaving them a free air hole. Plus, no extra laundry for me!

Umm, I use fitted. Mainly because the drape can stick to the client's face, as they are getting ready to flip over. This has actually happened to me when I was the client. We both had a good chuckle over it but I buy fitted! Very soft and lovely, flannel fitted.
