LE is on the prowl again. A couple days ago I noticed a NYS Trooper cruiser parked in hiding behind a row of trees almost across the street from Flourishing Spa doing surveillance of the spa. Have noticed this LE surveillance happening a couple times in the past and decided to keep going and not stop.

BTW I didn't recognize the 47 yr old Asian lady, LE busted at Flourishing from the WKBW photo.

FWIW passed by VIP spa on Union before 9pm tonight and the 'open' light was off and VIP spa looked dark. Will have to tune into WKBW News at 11pm to see what they review.

Girl in the picture was Michelle, I believe. This makes the point that a hj is the same as fs from a legal standpoint. Also interesting that the prostitution arrest is misdemeanor, while massage eithout a license is a felony. I bet they plead this to a disorderly conduct as long as the place closes. If I'm not mistaken vip is the same owner.

VIP owners were also involved with recently shutdown DQ spa on Main St, a little over two miles east of Flourishing. VIP owners are pretty ambitious. Wonder how many other spas they are involved with?

You know, if these folks were a little more ambitious, they could do this safely. Stay out of the plazas and advertise more discretely. Safer and everyone wins. Mention was made of homeland security in the investigation. Interesting, don't you think? Let's them get a warrant easily. And, what's up with the guy in the car talking to the press? Just not the right move, in my book.

With the way these spas advertise in Artvoice they are an easy LE target. It almost looks like the same owner runs them all.

The guy in the car??? Oh you mean the guy in the black Mercedes with the red, white, and blue ribbon just behind his side window...??? The guy who was counting his CASH, in advance, for his "wife approved" massage...???

That poor chap is kinda screwed... It is a shame that the news showed that much visual info. What they dis was thisclose to just giving out his name.

I think that Channel 4 went a bit too far by showing that.

Is it even worth it anymore? They get shut down as fast as they go up. And I cant enjoy myself when in the back of my mind im thinking this place can be raided at any moment. Not to mention the attendants are not getting any younger.
