Hello HP'ers
I suppose this is mainly directed towards reflexologists.
I have had irritating dead skin on my feet for many months and no matter what I did I could not get rid of it. I had tried many types of files, creams etc, the heel cracks not particulary deep but looked a mess. Living in the country and wellies on and off, or walking in muddy areas took it's toll. My heels were constantly grotty looking due to the exposure to dust or mud. (and yes, they do get showered every day, plus the occasional soak )
Anyhow, I have bought one of those pedegg things and found them absolutely amazing. Down to the healthy tissue/skin now which I can feel the creams can now help. I was a case study for an aromatherapist once and she said my soles were so hard they were like paws..
I started a reflexology course a couple of years ago but was unable to get beyond a few weeks, as life circumstances changed. I remember the tutor saying that we should not use those types of files for removing dead skin on the feet. Also the accumulation on the hard toe, could signify a person who thinks too much (yep can take that one).
Now my feet are laid bare I wonder if I will not think excessively .
However my question is, having got rid of all that foot protection now, psychologically, I wonder if it is going to make any difference to me as a whole person, if the foot mirrors the whole person. Now I really have got exposure down at grass roots level?
Will be glad to read any opinions...
