Ford to skip Pride parade, critics say it sends the wrong message

Since it is a parade about equal rights, unity, and shows the world that Toronto respects all people, I think that he should be there. I can understand taking a day off to spend with ones family, I'm cool with that. So long as that is the real reason he is missing it.

If you consider the total number of events that he'd have to attend on any given year he wouldn't have the time to do anything. Unless he had a clone.
Personally I wouldn't go to pride because I hate how "In your face" a lot of those fags have become. Last year a good friend of mine went with his girlfriend and STILL was accosted by a bunch of them.

If Ford doesn't feel right going there, he should not.

I for one am really looking forward to it. But then again I am comfortable enough with my own masculinity that homosexuality neither offends nor bothers me.

IMO Ford is the Mayor of all the people and he should have attended the Pride Parade.
