Fort Myers massage therapist found guilty of sexual battery - NBC2 News

FORT MYERS, Fla. – A male massage therapist was found guilty of sexual battery after he inappropriately touched a client in Fort Myers.

In April 2022, 69-year-old Jeffrey Scott Kaplan was working at a massage therapy business.

According to the United States Attorney’s Office, Kaplan inappropriately touched a client during a session.

The victim demanded Kaplan stop and quickly fled.

An investigation from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office led to his arrest.

A jury confirmed the guilty verdict after a two-day trial in Lee County.

Kaplan is set to be sentenced on June 5, 2023.
