hi there!

i will soon go to phuket/patong (nov. 14th) and just wanted to know where actually the best places to get some freelancers are??

yeah i know you shouldn't take them.....it's dangerous..... :rules:

BUT i like them. i've been 2 times in samui and i took 80% of the time only FL's.

i know, phuket (patong) is not comparable to samui (nightlife), but i think i'll be more happy with some FL than with a BG.

is tiger disco still the best choice? maybe every disco may be fine for that, but what are your experiences?

1)Tiger Disco – Great Music, plenty and plenty of F/L there
2)Thai Pan – Good music also, a bit more relaxed than Tiger and not so packed, but still good
3)Hollywood – New Club, so lots of people checking this place lout
4)Seduction Disco – Great music, but not so many people go there, worth a check
5)Baya Disco – Like Tiger, Great music and loads of lovely ladies
6)Rock City 1 & 2 – If you like Rock music, its the place to go, not really a pick up joint, but you can still score for sure
7) Safari Disco - This is the place to go after all the other disco's close, if you fail to score in any of the above go there, its a great club also... But a little further outisde Patong - but worth checking out

Plus all long Bangla Road there are plenty of F/L looking for business – Just be a bit careful and you will be ok...

The Pool Halls in Patong are also good, the one in San Sabai is a great Pit Stop.

Also go the Beach, great place to meet F/L, but don’t go after Dark, because only Tall Lady there, and they might rob you... My mate told me

So, there is my little list of Hot Spots for F/L. Plenty more places I guess to check out..

My suggestions after coming back last week from Phuket :

Holywood : packed with FL
Tiger : lots of FL but less than a couple of months ago in my opinion (Holywood's opening might be the reason)
TaiPan : Less FL but you might find some gems. Some of the dancers are really pretty but i guess you have to wait until they finish work (4am...)

And whatever you do, I do not recommend picking up FLs on Bangla Rd. Not unless they are a BG who just left the soi at quitting time. :beurk:

I cant go past Tiger, but i justr missed out on the Hollywood opening night so i cant say much about that.. But have heard that alot of FL's have been going there lately so ill be goin there for sure when im there xmas time.....

Why would taking freelancers be dangerous? If the give their id card at your hotel's reception, nothing much more could go wrong then with a bg.
Never had any problems with fl's in Patong.

Nothing to add as far as fl places are concerned, the ones I know where mentioned already.

There's a lot of hotels where they don't take their cards. Sometimes the cards are not theirs or are fake. And if they take something of yours, then what do you do? Call the police, the police take a report, and that is the end of it. You do not get your stuff back. Even if the police found the girl, then she is going to say she did not take it, and who are they going to believe?

If she is from a bar, your chances are better, because the bar can possibly sort it out with the girl, since they would rather not lose your business. And the girls are less likely to take stuff from you, because they know that you know where you can find them, and they don't want to get in trouble with their boss.

Most girls are honest, really. But there is always one bad apple, and you might get her. Not to mention the LB factor. :beurk:

The OP called taking a fl dangerous. I only thought calling it dangerous is exaggerated.
It is of course always wise to consider basic precautions: don't let expensive stuff lay around your room. The risk of meeting that one bad apple is really minimal but I agree that with LB's the risk could be higher. I think the OP (nor me for that matter) are into LB's, so that's sorted

I once lost a credit card. So went through the whole trouble of cancelling it and reporting it stolen. Had another sent over to me which I had to go to the post office to sign for. Big hassle!

Got back home and went to wash my clothes. Washed my ugly shirt (no not that one! I have more than one!) and what falls out of the shirt pocket, the 'stolen' credit card! Dohhhhhhhh

My first trip i changed a whole heap of money and wanted a good hiding place in my loom so i put it between the matresses forgetting that the rooms get cleaned daily and the sheets are the first things they change....
