Freelancers at bars

I’ve noticed there are usually a few FL hanging around bars, whether in Soi Eric or one of the bars in Tiger. I usually see them come in 2 at a time then sit at the bar and order a non-alcoholic drink while talking amongst themselves. The impression I got from them was they are very cool and not in a hurry at all, more professional than typical bargirls.

I’m curious as to what their role is in the grand scheme of things and wouldn’t they be competing with residence bargirls? Are they just killing time then head for one of the disco place when the time is ripe?

They may be freelancers or they may work at a bar in another soi, but just need to change environment for a while. They often know somebody in the bar too, in the cases with freelancers they may wait until 12:30 or something and then head to the discos.

I had a group of girls from a bar in Tiger few days ago, it was so quiet so they come to drink and talk to Ead instead.

Think I need to clarify a few things here

BG's who stay in the Bar House provided free by the bar must stay at the bar, have to come at an agreed time and finnish working at an agreed time. They can leave the bar if they are bar fined or pay the bar fine themselves

BG's who work at the bar but provide their own accommodation are usually free to come and go as they please but if a customer takes them from the bar then of course the bar fine will apply

The other parts are very true in terms of what Nick says. I get alot of FL's and BG's from other bars coming for a drink and a chat because I like to about different bars in Patong where I meet many of them and have a joke and a chat. Lots of FL's come for a drink before they head off to the discos near my bar Tiger, Baya, Thaipan

The reason alot of FL'ers are coming to your bar is because your a shag monster so they might get a free drink and a shag from the pissed Scottish owner. Ok, Ok maybe they don't get the free drink. :biggrinlo
