Friend Mugged In November in TJ

Yes ElDangeroso it makes me feel better it wasn't right in front of Adelita's in front of the private security, and customers. Just about everybody here except for one knew that it would be almost impossible to get mugged outside of a major bar like that.

Even the trip from Chicago to Adelita's is extremely safe and well lit that the likelihood of a mugging is almost nil, but I wasn't there so I don't know?

This is why I don't pay too much attention to second hand reports as there is no way to verify them, the information gets lost between the first and second guy, and it's hard to get a feeling what kind of poster you are dealing with. But the poster who knows the second hand posters I can understand them believing them.

Thanks again for the update and try not to take anything said on this side serious....it's just not worth it.

Hello again all, thought I would provide you with some more fodder to keep you busy the next month saying I am full of shit again, etc. If you may recall, got back from a weekend in TJ back in November and my buddy got mugged outside of Adelita's so I described what happened (second hand as I had gone back to the U.S. side as I was not feeling well) and you all unleashed a wrath upon me calling me a liar, full of shit, etc, etc. Was hanging with this same friend last weekend and just thought to ask him where he was when he got mugged - i.e., the one dark street with TS chicks or something or right outside of Adelita's. He told me that it was on the way back from Chicago's to Adelita's on a main street that cuts over to the street Adelita's is on so I am sure you will all rest better knowing it was not directly out front of Adelita's. Still, just a reminder to always be careful and watch your back.
