micro solar panel? I'm starting out a hobby learning about solar panels. So I bought a couple of mini solar panels to study with. The vendor says they are rated 6 volts @ 320 mA. These are those small solar panels used for hobbies. (I was hoping to build a solar powered USB port as a project)
However, when I attach a multimeter, the voltage is around 6 volts but when I switch to mA mode it reads 3.12 mA. I have the following settings on my Multimeter:
400uA
4mA
40mA
400mA
10A
For the mA I used the mA port for my positiver connector.
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong becuase the current is supposed to be 320 mA but none of my settings seems to show 320 mA, just variations of 3.2 mA with the decimal moving around.
I'm really lost and need help.
Thank you.
PS I'm asking this in another section just to make sure I get a solid anwser.
