Augie knows exactly what to do when he wants a massage. Augie knows exactly what to do when he wants a massage. Gene Epstein
This week's Pet of the Week is Augie, a 10-month-old pup with a knack for self-care.
In a video shared by Augie's owner Gene Epstein, Augie confidently trots up to the elevator in his house, rides it downstairs, and heads straight for the massage table. Once there, his owner gives him a relaxing massage that he clearly adores.
"I've been getting massages weekly for the last 40 years. My puppy, at ten months old, used to see me take the elevator down to my massage therapy room. One day, I asked him, 'Do you want a massage?' He hopped off his recliner and made a beeline to the elevator," Epstein told Newsweek.

The first finalists this week are Rico and Shilo, a Yorkiepoo and Morkie who live with owner and proud pet mom Shannon Richardson.
Richardson loves to celebrate special occasions by taking pictures of her pups—but it isn't always smooth sailing.
"Shilo loves taking pics [but] it is an absolute challenge to get Rico to pose for the cameras," she told Newsweek.

Next up this week is Kaito the cat, who is the perfect mix of adorable and mischievous.
"He is a wonderful, mischievous and an adorable cat," owner Meenu Khanna told Newsweek.
Kaito loves attention from Khanna, particularly when she is trying to work when he makes his feelings clear by laying down on her keyboard.

Finally, this week is 6-year-old Maltese, Brooklyn, a small dog with a love for the camera and striking a pose.
Owner Romona Johnson has a large album of pictures of Brooklyn, who delights wherever she goes. "Brooklyn makes my day, especially when we're out she takes her paw and waves at everyone," Johnson told Newsweek. "[She] actually thinks she is a star."
