Dipali Patel wants you to lead a less stressful life, and now she has eight locations you can go to do just that.

Earlier this month, she opened her eighth Massage Envy franchise. The newly opened spa in Piscataway joins sites she owns and operates in Chester, Verona, Rockaway, Morris Plains, New Brunswick, Garwood and Bayonne.

The new Piscataway spa features more than 2,200 square feet of space. Massage Envy members and guests can receive multiple types of massages such as deep-tissue, sports, prenatal and hot stone massages, along with four types of facials.

The franchisee resides in Middlesex County. Patel found herself getting into the Massage Envy franchise because she believes in living a healthy life and enjoys helping people create a healthy lifestyle.

“In modern day everyone has high stress levels just from day to day life and all too often do not take the necessary time to focus on themselves,” Dipali said. “Many people believe massage and facials are just a luxury, which they can be, but they offer many health and mental benefits that are proven aid in total body care such as lowering stress levels and/or physical injuries.”

Massage Envy of Piscataway is in the Centennial Plaza (across the street from Lowes and Walmart), 1344 Centennial Ave in Piscataway. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Dipali is confident the new location will fare well in Piscataway. “I chose Middlesex County because it is close to home and the fact that there are various amounts of businesses surrounding the area, which made it a perfect opportunity to open a new Massage Envy location,” she said.

Massage Envy promotes membership wellness programs.

“It is $69.99 a month which allows them to receive a one-hour wellness massage session or facial for that month,” added Dipali. With a membership, the business offers discounted rates for additional services.

Dipali said joining the program is not mandatory.

“The goal is to help people commit to total body care by joining the wellness program but they do have the option of coming in as they would like at our non-member rates,” she said.

Dipali believes that her staff sets her spa apart from the competition.

Our estheticians and massage therapists are highly qualified in various modalities. They will customize the massage and or facial to the client’s best needs when they have a consultation before their session,” she added. “Everyone on our team is trained to determine the best experience for each and every individual.
