I did chair massage this last Saturday at آ a festival here where I live. آ I offered introduction massage for $1 per minute and also handed out water, brochures, business cards and a variety of handouts on different topics. آ I only made about $50 and after paying for my booth made $30 but then water came to $20 so I made all of $10. آ But I really got my name out there. آ My husband and I just moved here in June and I opened 3 weeks ago. آ I have gotton 4 phone calls for appointments from this last weekend. آ Yipppeeeee!! One guy came yesterday and is rebooked for the next 2 weeks. آ  OH!  And i sponsored a car at the Show n Shine.  Nice little '56 Chevy.

Hi Jill,My cousins have a restaurant and that's how I found out about sponsoring the car.  The whole event was put on by the Chamber of Commerce.  I paid $20 for the trophy and it has my business name on it, and then you also present it to them and then the Chamber has an ad in the next days paper with thanks to those who particpated, which I thought was good for getting my name out there again.  Someone from a previous post (Joe_E ?) said put your name out there as much as possible.  The whole thing was fun.  And I booked two more people for this week from the chair massages I had given that day too.  It was so dang hot that day but a lot of fun.  I live in a very small town and also found that I did a lot of educating people about "legit" massage.   :
