Why even worry about the stupid "joiner fee's" Phil? Just book where you want to stay and let the BG's fret over additional costs.
I (like you) am young and smell good. I usually get laid for free, but sometimes I pay the minimum rates.
If I stay in a hotel that has a "fee" for my guest, I tell the girl that if she wants me....she has to pay the fee (freebie) Or if I'm "paying for it"...I deduct the cost from her 1000thb.
Never had a complaint about this.
