girl introduced me to her ex?

i met this girl this september in uni. we've been texting, calling each other etc. always hang out at lunch. been to the cinema a couple of times. today, after uni, we were walking through town. we were about to go our seperate ways when she asks if i could come into a shop with her. i was in no rush, so agreed. on our way there she starts talking about how her ex works in there. we met, it was really awkward.

i'm a bit confused as to why would she introduce me to her ex. anyone know or have an idea why she would?
thanks for all the quick responses. yeah, i figured it would be to try make him jealous.

although we're not going out, something could happen in the future, but right now we're just friends. that's why it was a bit weird her asking me to come into the shop with her.

Kind of seems like she was using you to make him jealous, she knew he would be there. Or maybe she doesn't have those feelings for you? Confront her about it.

I may confirm, that your friend has is showing off. Using you as a weapon to show him that she has a new man. This is how fights happen. Stupid woman starting trouble as usual. Stay away as all woman aint bad of coarse. 1 night stand material hahahahaha
