Girls, what would you think if a random guy on facebook added you and started

facebook chatting with you? Well, not a completely random guy, but a guy you have a crush on. Because there's this really cute girl at my school, I have no classes with her, and I don't see her anymore (I'm out of school already). When I was still in school, she showed a lot of signs of her actually liking me. I've never been this sure a girl has liked me back before, it's just a gut feeling. I was thinking of approaching her at school, but I'd always get really scared; my heart would start racing and I'd get nervous, then I wouldn't do it. I've had a crush on her for like 8 months, I don't feel like just letting it go. But at the same time, I'd feel strange just talking to her on facebook. I want to chat with her and hopefully get her number, then ask her to hang out, but I don't know what she'll think. I'm pretty sure she likes me so I don't think she would mind it, but I still am kind of nervous about this. Girls, if a guy you had a crush on, but never talked to, added you on facebook then started facebook chatting with you, what would you think? Should I just send her a message first? I'd feel more comfortable doing that, what should I say to break the ice?

I think its perfectly fine, if that guy isnt like totally random whom i haven't even seen or known yet.
Since he'd be from same school...i'd add him then.
And thats what i did. I added this guy from my school. I have crush on him from 2years. Now we chat everyday. Try it....add her. First start the conversation with hi and that you are from her school. And then you can talk about mutual interests and various other stuffs.Give it a chance, you never know. May be she likes you too. Good luck

If I had a crush on him I'd be like "YES". Lol, but if it were some random dude I didn't know or like I'd ignore them or talk to them without flirting.

I think you should talk to her! If she likes you or thinks you're nice then she'll reply; it's kind of rude to not reply whether you like the person or not. GO FOR IT.

Just be like "Hey, so since I have you on Facebook I figure I should say hellor or something " or something not so creepy lol. I'd really appreciate if the guy I like said something to me.

Just do it, you never know. Be like, hey remember me? We used to go to the same school together. If she thinks you are weird than it wont matter because it is not like she still goes to your school and there will be awkward passing by in the hallway moments.

i just really he might have liked me or wanted to be my friend or wanted to add one more friend to his friend's list so dont scare, just add her she will accept or wont! at least you have given it a try and did your best to reach her, if it worked wonderful and if not you wont regret it for the rest of your life good luck

Check to see if she is seeing someone right now. If she isn't, then definitely start off by sending her a, "Hey! Remember me?" kind of message with some details about how you know each other. Starting the chat box up and being all, "Hey there" randomly could send off some red flags and creep her out. Start with the message, just one, and wait a few days. If she doesn't respond don't send another. You don't want to appear too overbearing. If she did like you she would most likely respond as soon as she can. Take things slow and let it build up from there. Good luck!
