Go Go Bars HKT and BKK

I'm not well versed in the go go bars, only Flash on Soi Eric and no first hand knowledge in BKK.
I did see some mention about Go Go's and would like some advice on where to go in BKK and Patong from some boardies who have some been recent experience.

i happened to be passing one night and i found Nana plaza to be of interest,especially if you go to the second floor and stumble into Hollywood (good lesbo shows so im told ) Angle witch was a bit naff to be honest,Casacades has gonr down hill a touch.
i then fell into a tuk tuk and went to soi cowboy where by chance i found Suzi wongs of interest,Doll house with 69 beautys and 2 ugly ones,thilak was ok but have seen better.
but im told it is all the fun of sampling each one for its own delights.

I'm surprised yyou found Angel Witch naff, has the reputation of the best go-go and the best show in Nana. Big expat Friday night hang-out, know a few regulars there myself. Several of the greeters outside are well disguised katoeys.

Maybe you were there a little late and the girls had been cleared out. I haven't caught the show yet as they don't interest me that much, usually makes the bar too crowded.

Playskool is usually good and my particular favourite is Rainbow 1, and had a great night in Voodoo not so long ago.

Soi Cowboy is picking up lately, a few new bars in play, Sheba's which was excellent the night I went there, but it's new and how long will it last? Dollhouse in Cowboy is a dead loss since it moved down from Clinton, and Suzie Wongs is good. Another new one but haven't sampled it yet, think it's called Cowboy.
Long Gun is also good, though usually too crowded, also meant to have a good show.

I find no real interest in the Patong Go Go's, plus I'm in bangkok more than enough to not botherr. Phukets attraction to me has always been the outdoor drinking, something Bangkok totally lacks, decent bars a la Phuket.

I'm most pleased at the what appears to be a very deeply founded post on the night life in Bangkok....I'm not sure what is really meant by the descriptions....
Can we be a little more clear as to the shows. Can you enlighten the old dog as to what is excellent and good v not good and what, in the name of the eye of a gent, do they do or not do to get the above ratings?

Mi Bonnett is is waiting...And I just may have to let opne the old pocketbook and give it a go....If I know about Go Go's,that is!

I havent been in Bangkok since March last year but I liked G-Spot best, 2:nd floor Nana Plaza. The girls enjoyed themself and had fun and dancing, were topless (sometimes naked) and many beautiful and sexy ones.

I don't like gogo bars were the ladies look bored and not smiling even if I understand them.

At Soi Cowboy Long Gun were the crowded bar at that time, the new Dollhouse were very nice but had not that many customers inside.

There are so many gogo bars in Bangkok, you will not be disappointed, just try them out and find your own favourite spot.

Gogo bars in Bangkok is generally a lot better than the gogo bars in Phuket.

I enjoy going into Go Go's in Bangkok. Just because I do doesn't mean I buy myself a take out. When you live here, you don't feel that need. I like a drink, and I don't mind being around these places no matter what these girls do for a living.

But I certainly don't remember calling them 'whores' in any thread.

Well...I've been in Bangkok all week....a few nights out and a one at home, haven't really tried anything new, just the old favourites.

Did go into Sheba's and it was dire this time. The girls were not very appealing and had really unattractive hats on. The bar is nicely laid out but unless they get some girls in. It was the night after the Nanapong Dance Contest, so maybe that had something to do with it. Or has the new bar bubble burst at last?

Cowboy One...the other new bar on the block....didn't even sit down...didn't come across well at all. Also Apache had much the same effect.

Tonite I've got somewhere completely new to visit that a mate wants to take me too......
