Well time to hit up the good fitness folks at massageplanet, for some suggestions...
Let me start this off with...It's a good thing I hit 177 a couple of months ago, or I'd be doomed to nookie being off the table for good. :gasp: It took a bit, but I had finally hit 177, but it seemed at the time that my body preferred the 180-185 range. That's the range I've been sitting in for the last little while. And I'll be honest, it was rather frustrating, working my ass off and not seeing any changes.
Then in the last week and a half, I've noticed my weight's been going up!! :grrrrrr: Good thing I had my suspicions. So I went out and bought a set of calipers, and had my doctor show how to use them. Believe it or not, if I'm reading it right, I'm at about 22% body fate. According to the chart that came with the calipers, for my age range, that is the lower end of "Average". Also if I'm doing my calculations correctly, I'm still loosing fat, it's just I'm laying on muscle that much faster. arty: Though I still look lumpy as hell.
I have a new work out, that's aimed more at us chunky endomorphic types. High sets, high reps, low rest, low weights. Also surprised myself, and did an unassisted chin up...I've never been able to do one in my life.
But I'm wondering, what should be some realistic goals for me to aim for? 20% body fat? 15%? 10% is really low... 10 unassisted chin ups and 10 full weight dips?
As for a reward.....Well I bought a new guitar as the reward for hitting 180...Ok I hobbied that day too, but it was a BJ/HJ, so it doesn't count. :tongue: And I got a new amp for my birthday (later this month...For those curious, I haven't had it yet, and I am a Virgo, you figure it out). So what would be an appropriate prize for all this hard work....And remember folks, between the cymbalta, dysthimia and work outs, my sex drive is nearly dead. (Might mention that to my shrink tomorrow...) Should also throw in there my TDL has taken a major beating, mostly due to retirements, so there's not a whole lot of ladies out there making me
