Going Solo in Patong this Dec2010?

Just was wondering if anyone is going solo this december 2010 in Patong?

Was there in July with freinds and was great. So have have decided to go back in december(3 days to go!). But am going solo.. Is going solo ok?

Going solo is fine but i found myself incredibly bored during the day, however i tried to fill it shopping, eating hitting the gym, massages by the end of that it was time to go out again

Solo travel is the ONLY way to travel, imo. No discussions, no compromises, you do what you want, when you want. Especially for mongering...there are maybe two or three people I would take a vacation with - and they already know I'm liable to 'disappear' for a week or two, and not ask questions, and have a good time on their own...

Well, I like to go alone, never have any issues with that.

But the week together with my buddy earlier this year was a blast beyond anything ;-)

If you team up, you can have a lot of fun with the girls ...

It's when it comes to groups ... that's something I really don't like ... 3 already is always 1 too much

I've been trying to talk a few mates into joining me in May...it would be fun to travel with like-minded people, but they're still stuck up on the "sex tourist" thing. Heathens.
