Golden Hands has been my go to place recently, still in search of that illusive unicorn I called a “regular”. When I am searching, I don’t make appointments, I just walk in and do the meet and greet; ask for a deep massage and see how things go. To save the you the time of reading this whole post, I did not find what I was looking for at GH. In a regular, I am looking for the right combination of looks/skills/prices. None of the GH ladies delivered in all three categories, Kelly and Lucy are probably the two closest. For the impatient ones, you can stop reading here.

GH is a lovely place, two level of rooms (I believe 5 in total), a nice clean shower, a sauna room (ask to be upstairs if you want to use the shower). While I have never used the shower or the sauna, I have been to all of the massage rooms, they are all larger than average and reasonably comfortable. As an establishment, it is perhaps my second favourite place after GE, GE still has the best lay-out out of all of the spas.

My biggest complaint is that the wall is thin, very thin; while lying there, I could hear every conversation in the lobby, every telephone calls, every lady prepping dinner, every microwave dings etc. etc. On a busy evening, it can be difficult to relax. It may be my own fault as I usually go at dinner time when things are busy. The two rooms to avoid would be the first massage room on the main floor and the second floor room with windows overlooking the lobby; you can hear everything through those windows and I am sure everyone in the lobby can hear you.

Why I was into GH for a while was because of the sheer number of new ladies they had, I am a sucker for new things so off I go to try them all. I went until I am no longer encountering new names, if I am missing someone, PLEASE let me know (I did write about two OG girls Jialin and Tara in a much older post). In alphabetical order, here are the ladies I had recently encountered at GH:

Ella – A shorter, 50ish and rounder lady; probably the shortest of them all. At her age and physique, she should not be wearing heavy make-up or tight spandex type clothes. She was always smiling and friendly but she was not my type and I will not be seeing her again.

Eva – A taller, 40+ muscular lady; probably the tallest of them all. During my visit, she had that perpetual grouchy look on her as if she does not want to be there. While the massage was adequate, I won’t be repeating. An unfriendly silent massage is not what I am looking for.

Kelly – A 20+ a-cups medium build girl. Definitely in that youthful masseuses camp. She tried to deliver a deep massage but it was medium at best. While she has youth on her side, she lacks the power and skills. She delivered an adequate experience but she committed the cardinal sins with me, she left the room early and never returned. If I had paid for 60 or 90 minutes, I do expect full time from my masseuses even if certain other activities finished early.

Lucy – A medium height, medium build 40ish lady. She probably looks the best among the non-youthful masseuses there. The experience was adequate, the massage was adequate, she did everything she was supposed to. It just wasn’t that “wow” experience which would cause me to return and call her a “regular”.

Shirley – Another 20ish youthful masseuse. She is tiny and can easily pass for a minor if you don’t look closely. She wore baggy clothes which hid the fact that she has little to no noticeably curves. My session with her was borderline terrible as she appears to be the type who plans to rely on her youthful look to attract customers; it has been a while since I had experienced a massage that weak at a semi-legit place. Because of the lack of efforts on her part; definitely the weakest masseuse there.

I think I have heard the name Wendy at one point in time but I wasn't fortunate enough to have met her. If someone can fill me in as to what Wendy is like, that will be great.

Please note that, unlike GE or Rosewater, my long term places, GH is new to me and my visits there have been limited; not a long term customer yet. All of these comments are not really in depth reviews, more of an off-the-cuff initial reactions, YMMV. There is a chance that one of the ladies will grow over time but right now, none of them are regular material. As the ladies mature (they all sound like recently graduates from massage school), who knows if one of them will grow up to be a superstar. I am sure that none of our current superstars were superstars when they were fresh out of school.

I cannot say this phrase more often enough, in this hobby, it is ALWAYS YMMV. My initial reactions are exactly that, my initial reactions, I will still be visiting GH but it is time to take my intensive search to a new pasture. Peace.

PS: If you are there at dinner time, it is highly recommended to grab some Lechon from the restaurant next door, sometimes I think it is the Lechon which entice me there and not the ladies, lol.

My April may be your Beatrice, I can only go by what I was told when I was there. I have zero means of knowing if any of the lady had changed working names before (especially if any of the review are not positive). Sorry.

One DM mentioned a lady named Lily as well, it sounds like I missed the good one.

Yep definitely 2 different girls, I've seen both. Rita seemed shy and it was hard to have any sort of conversation with her. She's young and fairly cute though, maybe she will get better with more experience.

I disagree, poor massage skills, HE or hj was so mechanical and rushing, teasing wasn’t enjoyable. She finishes session 10 min earlier. Except her youthful look nothing special about her. I didn’t try yet another girl there. Oster is right in his review about her.

I saw Shirley again. I will agree that if you want a deep tissue massage, better vfm elsewhere. But if you want a relaxing massage with plenty of teasing before flip, you will not be disappointed.

The last few posts highlight the most important point for this hobby, it is always YMMV. One may hit it off with Rita, others may be Kelly fans, I may have seen Shirley on an off day; we are all different. YMMV, service wise, don't pass any permanent judgement until you have visited multiple times; dissenting comments simply reminds me to go see the lady again. Look wise, we are all different and look for different things, some look for curves, some look for youth, others simply don't care; hopefully my comments can help in this department.

I'm more about the quality of the experience, not too picky about the looks of the lady. Trying to find that perfect, or near perfect, experience with a beautiful lady that provides an awesome massage and a great menu, is expensive and pretty much nonexistent. In other words I'm more about the fun than the eye candy, although that wouldn't hurt .

The more I go the more I’m confused. Saw an Ella there last week. I saw an “Ella” a couple months back and wasn’t the same Ella. I think they are swapping name tags at times so really have to be on your game to make sure you get who you book. This Ella was a very pleasant surprise and her game plan aligned with mine so I had an above expectation experience. However now it leads me to the question. How do I manage to see this “Ella” again?

I did forget to mention that whoever that was is was one of the best sessions overall I’ve had in a long time. I would describe her as pretty normal looking, maybe late 30’s(best guess), not super thin but nice shape to her, lulus and tee shirt top.

I was wrong above, they actuallly have six functional massage rooms; I found the sixth; smaller but still decent. I have heard up to five names mentioned before when I walk in. I have a strong suspicion that there are so many girls working; on occasions, they do take each other appointments. You may have booked Ella but if Wendy walks out to greet you first, well then, you just met your version of Ella. Girls are not assigned rooms, it seems like once you decide to stay, the lady scrambles to find an open room, get towels etc., a little disorganzied.

I also want to make it clear to everyone who may be curious (been asked a couple of times), GH is not a FS place, there is no FS, there is no BJ; even HE can be YMMV. Some of my sessions there are fully legit, no extra requested or offered. Some girls are friendlier than others but still, unlike FS places, there is definitely that line-in-the-sand there. It is also unlike our gold standard place like GE which are staffed by the owner with a small number of CORE girls; GH seems to have a large number of employees rotating through so the service level varies tremendously; but I could generally tell within 15 minutes whether my session will end happy or not.

I like GH because it is new, it is clean and it offers a large number of new girls to try; it offers me varieties and adventures. The downside is the inconsistency; if you are looking for consistent services, go to a more established place; GE, LomiLomi, Rosewater are all nearby.

Based on that description, I would have said that it was Lucy. So many names, too confusing.
