Gone home? or has she?

Hi guys.

First of all just wanted to say thanks to everyone whos posted on the board, it has helped me out a great deal with all the tips and what not.

Im sure ill get the "shes a bargirl what do you expect" reply but here it is anyway.

Met a girl in a bar in patong got on well with her and everything. Spent a few days with her and all that stuff, Once i had left i went travelling around asia and eurrope for a few months. I'd exchanged number with the girl but didnt really expect much anyways. After i had finished my travels i decided to take another unplanned unexpected trip back to patong(i made good friends with a different bars owner so thought id go back and see them again)

Once i landed and checked into the hotel i went to the bar where i met this girl on my previous trip a few months beforehand (didnt tell her i was coming back wanted it to be a surprise) but when i got to her bar she wasnt there. So i text her asking her where she was and got a reply saying she was back at home because her mum was sick. Got talking to her sister that id also previously met and asked her where her sister was? She told me that shed gone home for a while. I was a little bummed out but none the less stayed talking for a bit then left to go to my friends bar.

Now that im back home i get a text every now and then asking how i was and all that sorta stuff. She also say that she still back home looking after her mum and child. I say to her how long before shes back in phuket and she say she not now not work now for a while. Then i replied with ill be back in January for a week o so and she replied with ok i come down and see you.

Its not shes my girlfriend or anything but im just curious to know whether shed actually be at home or possibly working somewhere else in thailand. Or could it be that shes actually at home looking after her sick mum, I mean afterall i didnt say i was coming back or anything so thered be no need to lie. And her sister didt really recognise me at first either and she still told me she was back home.

Just after a few thoughts thanks

P.s. I will be coming back in January so will be coming to Mai Tai Bar and have a drink with anyone that is there

but why do you care if she is home or not?
you don't know her well enough to be worried about it. it seems you have your life and she has her's

looks like you like her, she agreed to come see you
just enjoy it for the relaxed situation that it is and if things get serious, then start to worry about those things

treat it like back home when you are just seeing a girl and not serious with her

Lots go home this time of year far cheaper to laze around at home living on peanuts instead of having to fork over for beauty shop, rent, mb taxis, latest phone, higher food costs , etc. probably one of the truer 'non-lies' you will hear at the moment. Also for those with older kids it gives them a chance to be with them before high season kicks in with the schools being off. not a lot of punters around at the moment for them either.

she might of course be telling the truth, again for any number of reasons

Which bar did she work in - I am sure someone on this board will know her or someone from her bar and can probably get you an honest answer.

I know probably 10 bar girls really well - out of those, 3 have gone home for a short break. So in all likelihood she has gone home (possibly sponsored)

Sorry, mate, I have been "there" too but you will get over it. Sounds hard to say but BG´s see all farangs like walking ATM´s and so are BG´s: All the same same ... Find another !
