The place I work at pipes in music that's okay, but not great, and it repeats often enough that I'm convinced there is at most 100 songs that it randomly selects from. *sigh* So when anywhere else, I like having GOOD music for ambiance!
I've found that some CDs designed for yoga practice make an excellent choice. The music tends to be soothing yet with an undercurrent of movement that keeps it interesting and fun to listen to.
I've also become a fan of Paul Schwartz, a modern classical composer. The CDs I have by him are beautiful, and I look forward to getting more of them. His music also works well for yoga practice.
