The guy is looking for a quiet hotel near Adelitas, so I guess Hacienda del Santiago would be the best fit, as it's within walking distance to Adelitas, and on the same street, it's accross the street from La Tropa bar one on the first bars you see when coming in from the US to the 'Zona.'
The Leyva Hotel next to Chicago club is pretty nice too, and quiet as I don't hear any noise. The parking here is excellent with security if you drive in to TJ. I highly recommend you don't in Tijuana, and they number one reasons are the LINES getting back into the US it will take you about an hour to one hour and a half, and if you walk maybe a 1/2 hour, late at night one to five minute walk. If you drive you just might be PULLED over into a police check point, and there are other problems with driving like finding safe parking, and if your insurance covers you in TJ in case you get in a accident.
I love Villa Zaragosa on Madero Street, you can't miss it as it's one street east of Revolution on 7th street. It's a very clean hotel a little nicer than a Motel 6 in the US. I love to order room service in the morning as the prices are very cheap, and this place is near all the action on Revolution, but a little bit of a walk to the Zona, but very close if you take a taxi.
I also use CASH when booking a room, and their reservation system sucks, but I would not have any problem using a credit card here or any other place in Mexico. My credit card company would call as soon as they see lots of activity on it in a foreign country and lock the card out, besides if their was any illegal activity one phone call would take care of it. I have not seen any studies that say Mexico is more prone to credit card fraud than the US, until I do I'll continue using my credit card all over Mexico, especially traveling to the nicer places as you get the best exchange rates when you use a credit card.
