I've been off work now since middle of May, I only work part time which is spend mostly standing, at the moment I am unable to do this! I have lower back pain and upper back and neck pain, I've had lower back pain for many years and most of the time I've just got on with it but it's back with vengeance, there's no way I'm having an operation. I've had MRI scans, physio, acupunture (going in the morning), I walk everyday if not outside on a treadmill and listen to relaxation mp3's (hypnotherapy) - don't do all these at once..lol, sometimes one thing relieves the pain, sometimes it aggrevates it - going around in circles all the time and the physio says i'll always be like this but I need to be in control which is hard when the pain kicks in really bad!
Anyways, been docs this morning to get sick note, my doc was on holiday so I had to see the one I hate - he couldn't get me out the door quick enough, before I sat down he's perscribed me more painkillers which I refuse to take as one of the side effects is muscle stiffness - I already have this, I don't need to make it worse....and that's my point....do they really care?
Does anyone else feel like this when they visit the GP?
