Guys only:why would a guy never introduce you to friends/family?

Keeps puzzling me why me and my were together for little mre than one year and we never went out with his friends,and I've never even met his family.I know about five of his friends but we don't really talk because I only saw them when I visited him in his college.And in the beggining he didn't even want me to meet them.Not to mention I have yet to meet his family...why?
Note:I have been with his dad once at night when he drove me home(with him)but no formal apresentations and I've never met his mom.
We broke up but I still have feelings for him and he wants to keep dating.

Some people like to keep their relationship separate, their friends separate, work, school, family. All nice and organized and separate. It's kind of annoying but take it as a compliment, he probably wasn't a "relationship" person but liked you enough to date you.

hes either hiding something from you or hiding you. i know a guy who dated 3 people at one time. one met his family and friends the other 2 didnt because he knew his friends and family would be like what happened to the other girl? honestly some guys are dumbasses. the person u have feelings for could be trouble but i cant be sure.

cuz my friends and family would embarrass me and make me look bad, every time i brought my girlfriend home and around my friends.... my parents and friends had to say shlt and embarrass the fuck out of me
