H2O Float Cryo Massage closed its doors Oct. 3 and will be declaring bankruptcy.
Ceena Owens, co-owner of H2O, said Wednesday the business had been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It's been tough for the service industry and anyone in retail right now," she said. "Of course, we really got hit hard. There were lots of variables."

H2O's former location at 1011 W. 27th, Ste. F4, Hays.
Owens will be renting 106 W. 12th, where she will have a private massage space. She will be the lone massage provider operating in the space. The new business will be known as Ceena Owens Massage Therapy.
She will be giving massages, doing massage education and offering some products for sale.

106 W. 12th, new location of Ceena Owens Massage Therapy. Owens will open by appointment starting Nov. 1.
Owens, in light of the economy, said she will offer some creative pricing, including a spot massage, drop-in service.
"So you woke up in the morning, you got a crick in your neck, you can come for 10 minutes for $15 and we can just work on that," she said.
The massage center will be open by appointment only starting Nov. 1. You can contact Owens at 785-639-7218.
"I am just really downsizing and customizing and doing massage education," she said. "I really want to help the public, so in these times, people a lot of time, they don't have a lot of money, so I thought the spot treatment, drop-in would be really good for the community."
