Half-Hour massage

I've always kind of wondered about, but never tried a half hour massage. I always thought it would almost be pointless as there really wouldn't be enough time to do a really good full body massage, let alone any happiness. Perhaps if a guy was trying a new place or new girl you might want to try a half hour just to see how they perform.

Does/has anyone gone for a half hour massage? Is it worth it? What can a guy expect from a half hour massage?

I usually take the 1/2 hr for a first time visit for the reasons you stated...most places I have returned several times after the 1/2 hr session such as stony medical when ada is there , tulip garden when mia was there, and tropic tan when elaine or Nicole were there..

As a true fan of the "real massage" part, I rarely booked anything less than an hour in the past. However, have come to the conclusion that sometimes when trying a new masseuse for the first time, a 30m or 45m trial may not be such a bad thing, to know if her touch and technique works for me. Photos, or reviews by others are never as good as a personal experience. Also, if it is new location, you get a vibe of the place, and what the therapist's expectations are. If their only focus is on $$ for extras, and they can't even focus on a 30m massage, the shorter visit saved me some time. And if the massage is awesome, chances are that one might be able to extend it to 60m or 90m if they are not too busy at that time. I call it the 30m chemistry check.

I will sometimes only do 30 minutes if they only have a bed and not a proper table, or if the masseuse gives only an average massage but a great finish I might just do half an hour. An hour can be a long time if she doesn't know how to give a real massage.

Personally I’d prefer the 1hr even in new visits. However, if the massage starts out poorly I have been known to reduce time or leave all together. The lazy or completely incompetent ones need to know right there that I am not satisfied. And if their manager is there, they know as well.
When I started, half hour was the norm for meeting new ladies, but I found, the good ones put more effort into an hour as I beleive they feel you are actually there for the massage and not just a happy ending.
