Is it reachable from Phuket without too much hassle or is it just not worth the grief.

Koh Phangan is a boat ride from Samui . Bangkok Air flies to Samui three times a day from Phuket, it's about a forty minute flight

Hello,

I've read that the travel from phuket (without aircraft) its kinda long and dangerous.. also the party its just alot of people dancing and drinking in a beach..

Bus from phuket to Samui, Ferry to Kohpangah.. about 12h of travel atleast..

I was going to go on the 24th of August.. but i will skip it.. maybe the next time on LOS..

Well.. its like a Rave.. very busy.. the beach destroyed cause of so much people.. lot of foreigners hyper drunks.. excesive prices.. and a very long ride from Phuket.. anyways i heard it is very nice.. just a rave in the beach hehe

i was expecting other kind of Rave.. and a not so big trip to arrive there..

Sitting on the Step of the 7/11 drinking cheap beer, moaning about the 1000baht you think the cleaners took from your room. Thinking why oh why does my Thai GF not give me a BJ and French Kiss me. Getting annoyed because as it is August it is NOW High Season and there is too many people about. So think about going to BKK to find all the STUNNERS. Checking for cheap Flights to BKK on your latest I-Phone 4 and gripping it too hard, and finding it does not work.

The full moon party is great fun! Was there for new years eve last year.

Drinking, dancing and mushrooms. Thousands and thousands of people partying on the sand with great music.
